City of Redondo Beach Community Services

STOP! This office does not process Adult Renewals.  

For ADULT RENEWALS (Passport was issued at age 16 or older), please visit travel.state.gov to complete the renewal process by mail or online. Expired passports may be renewed up to 5 years after expiration. Adult Renewals must be done by MAIL or ONLINE and will not need an appointment.

Adult Passport Renewals

Processing of third party applications requiring returned sealed envelope to passport applicant.

= Must have travel itinerary showing travel within 14 days
= Must have Letter of Authorization from third party company
= State Department Application Fee (Amount varies): Check or Money Order ONLY  (No Cash or Credit Card) AND
= $35 City Processing Fee: may be paid by Credit Card
= Passport Renewals for Minors under 15 years must 
    be accompanied by the old passport and the birth 
    certificate.

= ONE PERSON per appointment.

Third Party Courier Processing (Hand Carry Applications) - Must show proof of travel within the next 14 days

= State Department Application Fee (Amount varies): Check or Money Order ONLY  (No Cash or Credit Card) AND
= $35 City Processing Fee: may be paid by Credit Card
= Passport Renewals for Minors under 15 years must 
    be accompanied by the old passport and the birth 
    certificate.
= Visit Redondo.org/Passports to learn about 
     required documentation for passport processing.
= Expedited Processing will take an estimate of 2-3
   weeks.
= ONE PERSON per appointment.

2-3 Weeks Expedited Passport Processing

= State Department Application Fee (Amount varies): Check or Money Order ONLY  (No Cash or Credit Card) AND
= $35 City Processing Fee: may be paid by Credit Card
= Passport Renewals for Minors under 15 years must 
    be accompanied by the old passport and the birth 
    certificate.
= Visit Redondo.org/Passports to learn about 
    required documentation for passport processing.
= Regular Processing will take an estimate of 4-6
   weeks.
= ONE PERSON per appointment
